Kurtis found CrossFit in 2003 and met "Helen" in September of that year. He and Laurie opened Rainier CrossFit in Puyallup on July 4th, 2004. They were the eighth affiliate at the time. 

Over the next 20 years, RCF would move three times, grow to over 9000 square feet, host the CrossFit Games Regionals eight times, raise $125,000 for Fragile X Research, give rise to 12 other affiliates, and watch thousands of friends find or reclaim their inner athlete. 

Rainier CrossFit is not currently offering classes.
