Sounds like a sleazeball attorneys dream huh?
The truth is, most of them didn't happen here but they come up in conversation because even when we're working wounded, we're well, working. Bumps and bruises, braces and stitches aside, you guys are in the gym and we're working around the bum wing-- or whatever the body part may be.
See, I think it's the gym that helps us to achieve these colorful badges of honor.
It's no secret that we're an older CrossFit gym, with a handful of 20 something firebreathers but were really mid 30's and later. Parents, with careers, and mortgages, and that twinkling of youth that isn't so distant.
We're at that perfect intersection of time and means- we've worked hard and now we're beginning to enjoy all that we've worked for. Our capable bodies forged at RCF just allow us to play that much harder.
And sometimes we crash and burn.
Luckily we heal, too.
See you in the gym. Bring your geritol.
