We're pretty lucky to have a kick ass cleaning crew who keeps us shiny. If you're like Nic and you make a chalk mess (pigpen), the tools to clean up after yourself are available. Plus. since it's cold and flu season, an extra wipe down with a clorox wipe never hurt anything.
Speaking of colds and flus: if you're sick, know that we love you dearly and although we might miss your fantastic smile, KEEP THAT NASTINESS AT HOME. We don't want you to share, we don't want you to snot or vomit or sweat or sneeze all over the equipment that we share. You can't "sweat it out". You body only has so much energy. Would you like to use it on fighting the infection that's ravaging your immune system or on thrusters?
Here's the guide: if it's in your head you're OK to work out. Headache, runny nose, dry cough, sore throat. All fine UNLESS it's in the first 24 hours of symptoms when you may still be contagious. It's not OK to work out with anything that affects your body- fever, productive cough, body aches, rash, vomiting, etc.
REMINDER!!! Wednesday night nutrition lecture, 6:30-8pm. We'll try to end all WOD's by 6:30 so come in early if your a late evening person. EVERYONE is welcome. We'll have a Q&A and answer questions about the upcoming Whole Life Challenge. This is not exclusively for WLChallenge-ers, it's a simple nutrition talk for anyone who's interested.
