Is Jack ever NOT smiling?
Strength - The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply force.
Muscular strength is defined as the maximum amount of force that a muscle can exert against some form of resistance in a single effort.
This is in contrast to muscular endurance, which represents multiple muscle contractions or a sustained muscle contraction over a period of time, for example during running, climbing or performing multiple reps with a dumbbell at the gym.
Practically speaking, you use muscular strength when you lift yourself out of a chair, pick up a heavy object, or push a piece of furniture. In the gym, a single repetition at a given weight is an example of muscular strength.
Strength can be measured most easily by a one rep max. Or in our case, a 3 or 5 rep max.

Pretty impressive Dan, but how about when I just stare lovingly at the pumpkin cheesecake at the costco, and don't buy any?
Friday is the Halloween workout day, peeps, so wear that costume. I've got mine, and it's gonna be scary! (and NOT in a good way) Dig in the back of that closet...I know you've got something in there that can pass as a costume. Be brave! It will be fun...really! You're already doing handstands, jumping rope, and flipping upside down on the rings like a kid, so dressing up is right in line with that. And yes, we're gonna laugh at you, but we'll mean it in a good way. :)
