The long and the short of it:
The short: a 3 day a week 4 week long program to systematically introduce you to CrossFit and ready you for success in a CrossFit class.

The Long: CrossFit is more than a workout posted on a website. It is a community of like minded, hard working individuals who believe in a system of short, intense, constantly varied exercises and its supporting nutritional beliefs. The exercises are full body, functional, and demand attention to form. Our focus will be first on perfect movement.
It has long been said that CF is potent medicine and the best way to approach it is from a long, slow on ramp.
Welcome to RCF On Ramp
During these 12 sessions, we will not only teach you how to move yourself and external objects, we’ll go into why CrossFit works, how it works, and how we should be eating to fuel this type of activity and our lives.
Each session will include a warm up, skill review and new skill teaching, a workout, stretch and cool down and some conversation about nutrition, performance, or a CF related topic.
The emphasis will always be on skill development before intensity.
We will begin with the non-technical and get progressively more technical. Attendance is mandatory since each session will build on the sessions before it.
At the end of 4 weeks, there will be a skill based test. Upon graduation from On Ramp, you will be ready to attend any RCF group CrossFit class.
